Episode 2: Emmett Heath reveals his secret to catching the pickier fish on the Green River and his streamer techniques

Listen Now
We have fly fishing royalty for our guest on this episode. Emmett Heath from Trout Creek Flies joins us in this episode. Emmett has been guiding for over 20 years. Anyone who has been to the Green River before knows how frustrating it can be to watch these huge browns sipping bugs off the surface, but they don't give your fly the time of day. Emmett shares his secrets on how to get those picky trout to take your fly. Plus, He shares his techniques on streamer fishing and how he fishes for those lunker browns.

As in every episode I gather all the reports from all over the west and size it down for you and, read it back to you so you don't have to.

Mike Overton brings us the fly of the week. The Woolly Bugger. Mike explains why this is such a great streamer pattern and how he prefers to fish these patterns.
