Episode 13: Norm Albiston teaches us how to think like a fish

Listen Now
Our most information packed show yet. Just when you think you know a bit about fish and fly fishing you talk to a guy like Norm and you realize how little you know. Every time I listen to Norm I walk away a better fly fisherman.

This episode runs a bit longer than our normal length but I couldn't bring my self to cut any of it. Every minute is packed with some of the best fly fishing tips I have ever heard. Its worth the wait on the download.

Before we bring Norm back again we want to know what questions you have for him. Post them here on the boards or email them to us.

Episode 12: Scott Sanchez, A New Generation of Trout Flies.

Listen Now
Thanks for waiting a few more days while we got this episode out. This is a timely show for all of you fly tiers in the middle of your winter fly tying marathon. Scott Sanchez is our guest today. He is the author of 2 fly tying books. "A New Generation of Trout Flies" and "Tying Salt Water Flies" are great for both beginners and veterans. The thing I like most about Scott's patterns is that they are simple and very effective. I can tie these flies with simple pieces of material in the parking lot at Little Hole if I needed to.

Scott has been part of the "One Fly" contest from day one. And his patterns consistently do very well. In this interview we hear from Scott about his lethal Double Bunny pattern and the "Super Fly", the Convertible.

We hope you enjoy listening to the Scott as we did talking to him.
