Episode 32: Mike Andreasen on Stillwater Flyfishing

Listen Now

In this episode we bring you Mike Andreasen and his wealth of Stillwater fly fishing knowledge and experience. Mike Andreasen has a unique view on the world of Stillwater fly fishing and he shares with us many of his insights to help us all approach the water with the knowledge we need to be more successful. Mike also talks about some of the materials and flies from his books, Effective Lake Flies, and Productive Stillwater Flies.

As well as being a very experienced angler, mike has some amazing tales of some of the fishing adventures he has been on. Mike was especially kind to share his stories of 28" browns that he and some of his fishing buddies go after twice a year north of the border. Some of his stories were hard to swallow at first. Here at flyfishradio the first question out of our mouth is "where's the picture"? Well mike produced them for your viewing pleasure.

The great thing is he tells us how to get there on a budget that most of us can afford!

Also visit www.flydesk.com to find Mike's books and the materials to tie the patterns in them.
